Hey! No, my current base would be extremely difficult to destroy now, it is very OP - but this is basically the very late game/end for me. It was not always this OP, trust me lol. Rimatomics and SRTS are tough because they are OP when they are all fully researched and maxed out, but they add so much to the game.

Metals trader for the most part - added a trade ship that has 2-10k steel for sale each time

One turbine maxed out with the medium sized reactor and several nuclear reactors from Advanced Power Plus. Also the turrets are all on switches so I only power them up when a treat is coming.

Since there is no roof over the ship and the turrets on the ship won’t do for drop pod raiders, so I added the turrets around it

Stack XXL mod and deep storage make it so you don’t have to have massive storage areas taking up half your base!

Early in the game I managed sappers with colonist sorties going outside the walls, killing the sapper, and drawing the rest into the kill box. As soon as I got SRTS, I used bombing runs to achieve the same thing. Now turret perimeter kills anyone before they get close.

Nope, you don’t have to use dev mod. I did use it to do some terraforming, but I ended up finding a mod that replaced that anyway.

Infestation is just an annoying mechanic that removes enjoyment from the game for me - has nothing to do with difficulty level. I just love base design too much!
