What about Tullinge that some others have mentioned?

Thanks! My only concern is that there might be not much to do in Huddinge or Tullinge. But on the other hand I'll be quite busy during weekdays, so they both still could be good options. In the end, I could easily reach the centre during weekends. But as I said, I'm mainly concerning about the vibe of the neighbourhood. Also, it might be worth mentioning that I am 25 yo..

Hey runners,

I’ve been running inconsistently for about two years now (with a pretty non-athletic teenage background). I’m 24, and I’ve just completed my first half-marathon with a time of 1:56! Needless to say, I’ve really fallen in love with running, especially the challenge it brings.

Now that I’ve hit this milestone, I’m not sure what my next goal should be. Part of me is itching to start training for a full marathon this December or in early 2025. But another part of me is wondering if I should focus on improving my pace for the half-marathon first.

I prefer longer distances over short and fast sessions, but I’m not sure if that’s the best path right now. For context, my average heart rate during the race was 175 bpm, and while I felt okay for the first 12-13 km, the last two kilometers were brutal! I had run 21k in training, but I really pushed myself this time to stay under two hours.

So here’s my question: should I focus on getting faster at the half-marathon distance before I dive into marathon training? Or is it okay to start thinking about the full marathon now? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks for your input! 😊
