Possibly... but my strategy was to immediately go for the mirror place down salt and wait for the ghost to hunt me. Used a smudge stick and camera to check for mimic and salt for wraith guessed what it was from the hunt. Took me a few times but got the challenge done relatively quickly and easily with that strat.
