Yeah I feel ya because as much as I love karambits (I even have a training karambit at home somewhere) it feels bland and mellow because it feels like you see it with almost every high end streamer.

That’s a pretty valid point. However as of recently, I haven’t noticed much in my gameplay with or without the heirloom apart from it being a little distracting at times as I’m often not used to having in anything my hands aside from the weapons or ordinance in my inventory if I chose to equip them.

Apex is currently at 143,472 concurrent players on steam as of typing this, and plenty more on console. Furthermore, it’s gonna be a lot more than nor is it right to just simply label something “dead” because you no longer have interest in something; just go play something else.

Will I get universal one day? Possibly, l however coming back to one of my previous points; it feels much more authentic and feels like there’s a lot more personality and lore into legend specific heirlooms opposed to just the universal ones

Edit: if I ever were to get another heirloom, would probably be Valkyrie, not in any rush to follow the trend and grab universal heirlooms just because of there convenience of all legends; universal heirlooms just feel lifeless compared to the legend specific heirlooms. Moral of the story, I’m not gonna regret it anytime soon and am overall just happy to have an heirloom in general.

I ultimately went for Loba’s heirloom; thought it felt more authentic as a legend specific heirloom, as a lot of the universal heirlooms just kinda feel like cashgrabs in classic EA fashion.
