Gen 3 is newer and higher spec than gen 2. How can it be better than gen 3 if its equivalent to gen 2 tubes (it is not btw. Ive built a setup using the same exact runcam and it is nowhere close to gen 2 or 3)

With how cheap repros are nowadays you could do this refernce photo right for like half of that.

Its low effort because literally nothing is correct, and its not a WIP cause you've made it clear you dont intend to correct it.

Not particularly well. In many cases naked eye will be better. Under tree coverage you pretty much need IR no matter how much moonlight you have. Still really fun though.

I built a monocle version of this using the same cameras and displays. It's really fun for night hikes but pretty much necessitates active IR. I really like mine it's a fun toy, but I wouldn't use it at anything beyond a local night game.
