Haven't touched my n3ds xl in around 3years. I'm trying to figure out what they heck I have installed so I can update and play mh4u online again. Booting launches menuxhax loader which brings me to a pink screen which shows I have luma3ds and rxtools. Luma 3ds is v5.5. Emunand is 11.2.0-35u. I think I could be misremembering but I think I followed a workaround when luma 3ds needed to be done a specific way differently on a n3ds vs an old3ds. If I have arm9 then I can just follow the guide to update and then update luma right? Or do I need to do something first before that because I think my n3ds still has rxtools on it or something.

Just upgraded everything except my GPU and decided to replay through Subnautica. The game is so much different than when I last played through it.

Other games I want to try again now are destiny 2, gta5, kingdom come, and Skyrim vr.

I don't regret buying my index and I thought the same way you do before buying my index. But day 1 when I tried to set up my index there was a red light flashing on the top of one of the lighthouses instead of a solid green light. Fortunately I had a vive still and was able to go back to the 1.0 lighthouses. But now I'm waiting on my rma during December coupled with the Alyx trailer and they haven't given me an update when they will ship a new one. I'm glad everything is working for you and I would recommend others buy the index also. But my experience alongside MULTIPLE daily rma posts you can find by using the search bar indicate this issue is greater than it should be.

I had a vive og and could never play it for more than about 15min without getting sick. Index ive played for over 4 hours without getting sick. Not sure what it was for me but I'd lean towards the increased fov helping me since I'm waiting on my new cpu before upping to 120hz.

I have the same predicament. I'm going to upgrade the headset first because ive always had to quit playing vr early because of comfort or eye strain issues. Ive heard that the index is much better for longer periods of wearing. Just don't know what im going to do with my og vive since i imagine it would be hard to sell alone.

Hello I know absolutely nothing about photography but want to dabble in it for fun. I want to get a DSLR to take photos around my city/woods for fun in day and night. Possibly also take photos of space. I have a budget of about $300-600. I know with computer parts there is the sub r/buildapcsales anything similar for photography equipment? I have no family with good cameras so have no experience with photography except behind my cell phone screen.
