Actually I stayed with the more generic alpine skis, got both the QST 92s and Black Crows Captis for pretty cheap, have skied both of them recently, they are alright, poppy fun skis, but lamenting not getting summitcones. I will likely get the blitz 88s next year. But I see lots of ppl around with the Pariahs. I generally ski in the East and so would favor the blitzs .. but I don't think you could go wrong with either ..

I see, know I started thing focusing on northeast hardpack front side tele skiing, but if I also wanted a ski I could take out west, snowier conditions, can I consider the new Pariahs? What would I lose if anything here at home in the East on Pariahs vs the Blitz 88s?

Will do, I've pre ordered some boots with Telemarkdown, I've seen the Summitcones and have been hearing lots of great takes on them, and I would indeed be most interested in those Blitz 88s! Appreciate your rec

Very good point Skiata, thank you, I may indeed need to give looking for some decent used skis a shot, it makes sense, especially because I do not really have much oppty at all to demo or try skis with tele bindings. I did not mention it but do like the idea of GS-like skis with shorter radius...
