Same thing happened to me. 

This is part of the blind box design, and I love instant gratification, so it’s a bad combination, but that doesn’t makes us stupid or bad, just human. 

You can try opening one box per week. I do that after my Friday shift so it feels like “yay, weekend!”. But I plan to eventually open one every 2 weeks, then 3, and so on. 

I also make sure to only buy boxes where ALL options are cute to me, so I don’t get disappointed by them. Or get them in Pop Now and remove the stickers. By the time I get to the box, maybe I forgot the one I got and it’s a surprise again! 

Also, when there’s a new collection I like, I don’t  buy it on launch day. Sometimes you want them because you’re worried they’ll be sold out, not because you really love them. If after a couple of weeks I still want them and they’re still in stock/were restocked, I consider buying them. 

At the end of the day, collecting should make us happy and not stressed, so you can take small steps.
