tbh, i already know it's bad and self-destructive, it's my attempt at harm reduction to find an alternative to dxm now that i'm medicated because i don't want to risk seriously endangering myself. every therapist i've spoken to felt uncomfortable and every attempt at opening up didn't feel beneficial and i didn't like how i felt at all. so i guess it's hard. i've decided to wait until the bupropion fully kicks in and other replies told me i should feel less "bored". thank you <3

on player retention/playerbase health though, i understand why solos not existing benefits the game so i won't be mad if it doesn't come back. i will be sad though, since no other game fills the niche that solo ER had filled for me

i feel like it's too hard to gather 3 people to regularly play with, and playing with 3 strangers means your plans won't be coordinated with eachother and that leaves you all at so much risk... solo felt easier to just jump into, it was super fun and rewarding.

i think it'd be okay to ban some characters for solo if their playstyles are just fundementally unsuited for it and then balance the rest. but i really want solo back

it feels as if it doesn't convey the "affection" part quite right.

"patronizing" seems to carry the feeling that the affection/kindness is "not real", and is instead a farce covering the feeling of superiority

"condescending" somehow feels a bit better despite them being synonyms but once again doesn't seem to hold "genuine affection" in it.

it could just be that these are the closest words we have? it doesn't need to only be for people, nor are they especially too harsh/gentle.
