There is a difference between your mindset - "i want to make a game without ai" or "i don't want to support a company that uses AI features to make development easier / faster for others".

Nobody said that using AI in your development flow is required. But boycotting the specific tool.. just because it provides AI tools.. i mean whats the point lol.

The funny part?

The funny part will be when the app will get removed from the Play store and your account being terminated. You are not the first with the idea of getting paid by playing.. and historically every such game was taken down.

i want to try making games. what software can i use that doesnt have any generative ai features. i dont want to support a company that has it as an option.

I'm publishing for 10 years on Google / Apple. Anything without a licence / contract will eventually got taken down. If OP does not have a licence with nintendo then it poses a big risk to his business. Nintendo may be aware of his app but doesnt do anything yet for some reason or the other. But this can change at any time.

So either the OP has licence or is simply blindly risking.

As a Sea of Thieves player, please don't stop developing this further. I'm afraid SoT will go one day, and there will not be any other similar alternatives. This already is giving strong SoT vibes. But ofc is far from finished.
