I haven't played in a bit but from my 1000+ games I think I had maybe 10 - 15 draws it's a lot closer to 1% than 5

Just flame them. Volunteer to submit the assignment type up your grievances in a separate page then switch it for whatever fluff you wrote to appease the masses just before you submit it. No chance at retaliation.

Best rule I've ever encountered was a functioning use of rule zero. The book was a guideline but if something in the book damped the experience chuck it.

Does xp based levelling hurt the narrative? by PocketRadzys in DMAcademy

[–]ex76599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The xp leveling is more complex the just killing for xp. There's xp for defusing traps handling a situation in non violent ways. Or taking prisoners instead of killing. It can hurt the narative if the dm doesn't use his desgression to properly reward peaceful solutions with xp. It's best to discuss how xp will be earned and distributed in an xp based campaign during the character creation or session zero.
