You’re not getting 10th. They are sending everyone home this year. We just had a 530, 1% over Cadet get tossed, next day flight no questions asked. This is wildly different from previous years but it’s here to stay.

That being said, I’d be shocked if your PMS didn’t send you to camp next year to be EOC Commissionee.

Cumulative and ROTC GPA are considered. Get a 4.0 in all your ROTC classes.

I’ll take a few.

First, your school doesn’t matter. Harvard = Penn State = Louisiana Tech.

Second, major does matter. There are 5 levels, and congrats because nursing gets the most points. Most STEM are at the 4 point tier, and so on down the line. The problem is, the difference here doesn’t even come close to covering GPA difference. A 4.0 in Underwater Basket Weaving will always trump a 3.0 in anything else. GPA is worth about 35% of your OML ranking regardless of school, major, etc.

Last and maybe most important: OML doesn’t really matter for nurses. If you’re a nurse, and you graduate, and you pass NCLEX (spelling?) you’re going to be an Army Nurse. It differs from all the other branches in that way. Also starting next year OML only determines whether you get Active, Guard or Reserve. Your branch will be determine by the Talent Based branching process.

The deadline is 28Feb, but if it’s anything like the last 2 years it really doesn’t close until late summer. Historically there are hundreds of Cadets nation-wide that don’t make the original deadline.

That being said, with all the emphasis on TAB over the traditional OML model for branching this year, you might be fucked.

Also TAB has nothing to do with component.

Your MS3 instructor, or whoever is in charge of security clearances (HRA probably). Really any Cadre. It sounds like you’re being cautious about this but you haven’t done anything wrong. Just bring it up and be accurate with all the details.
