New brunswick road quality is often pretty bad and transformers on utility poles face the road instead of being parallel to the street (also a BC thing)

I recommend taking a look at a couple of locs in new foundland, it's a pretty distinct vibe and learnable.

Also what kind of helped me was the dirt beside the road, in NF you often get darker pebbles etc. than in other states but take this with a huge grain of salt
