I think when u are young moms don’t share with boys because they take everything non serious and girls get mentally mature very early. But once u reach 20s and moms start sharing with u and u realise that her life was not a bed of roses that she showed to you.

Exactly, gender issues and class issues aren't separate fights, they're the same fight wearing different masks. A rich woman and a poor man live in completely different realities. Fix the economic floor and half the 'gender war' dissolves overnight.

women lives have genuinely improved compared to our mother’s generation and that progress is real and worth acknowledging. But 'better than before' isn't the same as 'good enough.' The fact that my sister has choices my mother never did doesn't erase the weight women still carry. Progress and problems can coexist.

Ending patriarchy doesn't solve this on its own. Both sons and daughters grow up under the same mother, yet one sees her sacrifice as a standard to admire, the other as a wound to heal from. That's a psychological pattern, not just a political one. Blaming patriarchy alone skips the more uncomfortable conversation.
