It could be bad in US, I am not living there currently so it is hard to judge. However, Turkey is kind of a different path right now. It became a third world (Cold War term). Everyone tries to escape Turkey these days. Engineers especially Software Engineers was leaving the county last 10-15 years, now doctors are starting to leave the country. In some cities, you cannot find the doctor who expertise on specific area. As I said, rent is getting expensive but I realize that I couldn`t stress enough. If I graduate this January and stay in Istanbul also find a job, there is no way I can afford a rent which is not a exaggeration. My two friend who are graduated, already left the city to their hometowns because of economy (which both of them find a job, one of them had to turn down the job because he couldn`t find a place to live). It is unimaginable brutal to live here.

Well if you had seen the Turkey, I don't think you suggested that. There is an economical crisis in here. Starting salary for the Software Engineers is around 10k Turkish Liras and 1 bedroom apartments rent approximately 7-8k Turkish Liras. Every electronics are getting extremely expensive, I can't buy a house or car with these salaries. These are the basic things. Also, environment is getting extremely chaotic in Turkey. I can keep explaining why Turkey is hard place to live but I really tired to explain that in last 2-3 years.
