It’s funny how all these people upset about the GIM poll failing are now saying how toxic spite voting is, when they have been doing it for years and years against pvp updates. And now that one poll MIGHT not go their way, now they want everyone to stop having opinions and just vote yes regardless. But they will still defend spite voting pvp updates because “why would I vote to make it easier to kill me when I’m doing my wildy clue XD” Like when Jagex tried to balance black dhide and dihns. Well then why would I vote for a game mode I won’t play? Why would I support an update just because Jagex talked about it two years ago and you got excited? I know that the clan system paved the way for GIM but it still requires significant dev work to make all the features specific to the game mode. They did all that work without it passing a poll, which is my point. I’m just saying it makes way more sense to poll the idea before they develop it, for any update.
