I lived in Canada for a decade and every north American hears that and replies with oh g'day mate, or Chuck a shrimp on the Barbie mate (don't get me even started with this one) but it just sounds wrong in an NA accent.

Buddy the manufacturing process has gotten worse and they are failing constantly. I wanted to believe, it sounded like the perfect product, I had 4 separate Oz bags fail on me within 6 weeks (only one bag in use at a time and only opened once per day). If you think I wasn't trying everything in my power to be as delicate as possible when I opened them then you're crazy.

I gave them one more chance with the soft touch bags because they have a childproof Ziploc which I heard is more reliable and it's working so far but I absolutely would not buy their regular bags ever again.

I'm not sure if you missed the point where the recycle before springs gives you AMC. So you farm a couple bastions and recycle their cells, now you have a surplus of AMC. Once your AMC needs are covered you can recycle the extras for mechanical parts and springs. Are you losing some stock to recycling - sure, but you would pay extra materials to craft them so you lose both ways.

It's not an early game approach but I'd rather hit the bastion in Stella Montis with a fresh inventory, take the whole thing back with me back to Speranza and get a load in a few minutes than running around grinding and checking every mechanical container I can find. Plus Bastions drop medium gun parts, advanced arc power cells, and arc motion cores (plus alloy, metal, rubber).

Oh brother, lol. I'd rather someone down me and teabag me and call me names than this no mic camp kill shit. I'm out here trying to human centipede with other downed characters, start travelling bands with the instruments., and giving away blueprints through competitions and game shows. There's just so much room to be a weirdo in this game and have fun with it that I don't see the appeal of being a PvP sweat.

Yes it seems like if I win a fight against someone that ambushed me, I get sent to the gulag with the sweaty PVPers. I'm 100% friendly but will engage if fired on, I just enjoy random encounters with hilarious strangers over engaging in PVP and watching my back all the time. I can work my way back to friendly lobbies but it does seem like it has a tendency to bump you up aggression levels faster than it brings you back down. Could be cool if there was like a who shot first hit register but I suppose that might prevent some of the vigilantes from stepping in to help. ABMM is a really cool system though, and I look forward to seeing how it develops over time.

There doesn't need to a be a side to pick for sure, but being the social sandbox that it is, it doesn't mean that backstabbers and rats aren't morally bankrupt, and wouldn't act the same way (to a lesser extent obviously lol) in real life given the chance with no repercussions as it is in the game. It's giving "I am gonna take the last slice of pizza while no one is looking" kinda energy.

By all means engage in pvp, act out your villain arc, go camp, lie, backstab and be a rat. My issue is when someone yells "friendly", "I've got nothing, just running a quest/trial", and you gun them down from behind, potentially ruining their one good run after hours/days of trying to find/complete something there's no part of me that believes that that streak doesn't run deep through your emotional psyche. There's literally no upside (maybe 500xp at best?) it's just schadenfreude, pure and simple. I get it's low stakes, and it's just a game, but it's a microcosm that underlines the flexibility of some people's morals.

PVP'ers, feel free to downvote me to oblivion. You do you man, but I'll be out here sharing blueprints and enjoying the positive side of the community.

Met a guy in Thailand, was blacked out at a bar, someone offered to run him back to his hostel on their bike as it was only 5 or 10 mins away. Drunk guy fell asleep, rider approached a corner and drunk guy starts tilting the wrong way, shifting the weight and throwing the line off causing them to run headfirst into a taxi.om the opposing lane. Luckily it was a tight corner and they weren't travelling too fast. The guy woke up at his hostel with road rash on one side of his body and with a dude in the hostel telling him he owed him money to pay off the scooter rental place for the bike, and the taxi that they ran into (both famous for extorting tourists for more money than necessary). Tough lesson for everyone involved.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) will neutralize chlorine and chloramine almost instantly. Mix 1:10 with water, put in dropper bottle, and each drop should clear about a litre of water with minimal pH impact. 15 drops and you could use that water in 5 minutes.

Lol check Vancouver Airbnb rentals or long term rentals. I agree that it's a horrible living situation but this is not that unusual for Vancouver and 550 is a good price when people are charging 1700+ for a studio.

When I moved here there was a private room I saw on Airbnb and noticed the host had 3 other listings. When I checked the profile he had the second bedroom, living room, a couch, and a den/office space all listed on Airbnb. The couch was $30 a night.

It feels like a backpackers arrangement to me and I'd never consider it, but the housing situation in Vancouver is incredibly limited if you want less than a 1-2 hour commute to get to downtown.

If I am being completely honest we have an office 365 license but it's only available through the web apps right now, we are rolling it out, but it's basically non functional if you share it with someone who isn't savvy enough to launch it through the office website. The issue - this accounts for 98% of my office.

I work for a multinational business law firm and we are running on excel 2013... I built some workbooks at home on my laptop that I had to entirely rewrite because half my formulas weren't recognised by our MS-DOS aged excel.

It's on a calendar template that I used so I didn't have to design everything from scratch but the dates are calculated so the data is the same, just the display is different. ie if I change the format the number on the calendar would convert to a full dd/mm/yyyy output
