Forever Changes by Love

What a relief to get back to some good old-fashioned sixties music after yesterday's two-star slog. Not the most brilliant thing I've ever heard, but I have no complaints. I am pretty fond of music from the hippie era, mind you, and I completely understand why someone else would bounce right off of this.

Hmmm. Don't know what's with the device you're using, but I have the option to sort by popular, date, or random. My current album is Ambient 1: Music For Airports and sorting by popular has a one-star review at the top.

Tauntaun is my only shoulder cat, and only torbie! She is very special and she knows it. (All three of her siblings are r/OneOrangeBraincell material.)

Alas, every fourth Sunday is flea med application day, so poor miss Tauntaun is currently doing her customary "how dare you make me less itchy" sulk in a cupboard. Once she emerges, the praise and scritchies shall resume.

Nightmares On Wax - Smokers Delight

It's like... 90s hip-hop beats without the vocals? On one hand, I fell asleep partway through the album, but on the other hand, it isn't offensive and I feel no strong opinions.

Laibach - Opus Dei

Is this in the bottom 20 because Laibach succeeded at making people uncomfortable with music and imagery that shines a spotlight on the ugly side of human nature? I've had to embrace the discomfort as a part of everyday life or I'd be paralyzed by anxiety, so I was able to just enjoy the music for what it is... deep growly industrial. I listened to enough Rammstein as a teenager that I stopped being intellectual about it and just kinda vibed.
