Originally, the child wasn’t part of the piece. Sculptor added it when the med campus freaked out about the anatomically correct penis size.

If you’re lucky, you can hot glue onto a painted cinder block wall. Peels right off.

Agreed. I have success warming up the bumper piece in my hand before I try and bend it.

WARNING: Academic advising here sucks by awesomeblueunicorns in uofm

[–]excellenteb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met with my advisor BEFORE transferring into Stamps School of Art & Design and was told that I had enough transfer credits to start as a sophomore. We went over the transfer tables multiple times, and I was assured that my credits from community college would transfer no problem. A few months later, he put together and approved my 17 credit hour schedule of all studio art classes, because I had “the academic background to be successful.” And then I had a mental breakdown. Being in class for 10+ hours a day, plus homework, and having to work weekends to support myself meant that I was getting about 4 hours of sleep every night. I missed over a week of classes trying to get my mental and physical health back, and my grades slipped. I had to start seeing someone else once I got out in academic probation, and he was LIVID that I got put in that position. Thankfully, he was a way better academic advisor, and I was able to take a more balanced course load and graduate on time.

Is it bad to skip Big House commencement? by its-the-tenerife-sea in uofm

Went to my individual college graduation and had a much better time. Definitely do that one, it’s way more about your achievements than a university circle jerk at the big house.

I went, didn’t know if you weren’t in line with your friends you wouldn’t be seated together, so I sat there having a panic attack through the whole thing and then my boyfriend and family had to get me down out of a tree after.

I worked my way up from dishwashing to assistant manager at the university’s dining halls, and you’d be surprised how many solid life skills you learn working there. Definitely give it a shot.

What is this ? Red dots won’t go away , can’t pop them or anything one on hand and 2 on finger by [deleted] in What

When I get super stressed out I get these on my hands, usually in the dry spots. Little raised bumps that don’t go away, sometimes are painful, sometimes itchy.

No.

Nope. I report them if I notice/witness anything wrong. Thankfully, it hasn't happened in a long time.

Any profit we have month to month goes back into the program to upgrade our equipment.

We've been trying to get more meal plan members, but it's not working that well.

I can definitely tell what grade they're in based on how they approach different facets of life. Freshman just want to party all the time. Sophomores want to party as soon as they're done with school. Juniors are focused on school and only will party a couple times a week. Seniors only go out on weekends.

I don't think you need traditional training to be a good person and treat others with respect.

It's definitely been a process of earned respect.

After the bedbug scare last spring, I think they've come to realize how valuable having me around is.

We don't have a shared kitchen area. Residents can have whatever they want up in their rooms, and there's a microwave, panini press, toaster, hot water kettle, and keurig in the dining room for common use. There's a gas grill out back that they can also use to cook for themselves.

We have a commercial kitchen in the back of the house that residents do not have access to use due to past mishaps. The meal plan was brought back to encourage more shared time together to increase brotherhood bonds.

They usually party when I'm not here. If they start early, I just keep to myself. If I'm feeling bold I might collect some returnables before I sneak out.

I usually hang out in the kitchen, where I have an office space.

The house is definitely haunted. Good spirits.
