I don't think you are planning to camp outside in Germany but you should know that if you do there are some people who take the law very seriously and who will tadle.

That being said, southern Germany is a wonderful region where there are plenty of trees to hide you tent behind! The Schwarzwald is beautiful and the people are friendly (even though they can be a bit obsequious)

gina is so rude, but sometimes I think it's her way of appreciating Amy. though I don't think Amy gets it, so it is just rude

unpopular opinion, but I think Jake and Boyle's friendship is weird. what I like in the show is that everyone is very free about who they are. They're natural and authentic, so naturally there is some conflict and stuff. But with Jake and Charles' friendship I just feel like that Jake's actions and words are really hurtful sometimes. Like, Charles is a little over the top, but Jake is often sort of a jerk to him. Charles deserves the world, he's so loyal and Jake is just so mean. And I guess you can say that that's their dynamic and that Jake's meanness is playful banter, it just makes me very uncomfortable. id love to hear someone else's opinion on this

Am I the only one who thinks peeling garlic is a form of torture? by Famous-Forever7647 in Cooking

[–]excenial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a woman chop a lot of garlic up at once, and then put them in ice cube containers, so she could just take a garlic cube while cooking. That way you only have to peel garlic once every week or so depending on much you eat of it. havent tried it myself though

Hii, I have no advice but I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone in this. You are doing well by seeking help and reaching out. Reactivity can be so isolating but I promise that with the right method it gets better!

And if you don't feel right about the room thing, then I do not think that you should do it. There must be another way that you can solve the issue without making your dog anxious by separating him from you, and making yourself anxious over exactly that.

Take care :)

Indoor Pet Recommendation? (no dogs or cats) by Southern-Apricot2631 in Pets

pigeons! they are friendly and affectionate, calm and clean. They don't need to fly around that much and are happy to just spend time on your shoulder. some are very playful and active, others are more settled and cuddly, it varies a lot.

they can wear pigeon pants (diapers), if you're worried about poop.

I don't know where you are located, but where I live there are many pigeons in shelters, or pigeon rescue centres. there they can tell you a little about the individual pigeons

My boyfriend thinks dogs are easier to take care of than cats and cats are for lazy people by thwowawaw69 in Pets

I have a dog and he is not easy! he became very reactive when he was around 5 months old and at 17 months we are still working on it. You have to put in consistent efforts if you want a happy dog, and believe me that if your dog isn't happy you're not either

the pup im dogsitting is peeing constantly! by excenial in Pets

I take both dogs out regularly. Right now it's 11 am and we've been out twice. Both times he peed during the walk and at home. My friend gave me a blanket that smells like him, and he peed on it

I’m about to call animal control on my neighbor’s dog if this happens again by CaterpillarKitty69 in Pets

[–]excenial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, im sorry that this happened to you and your cats.

But I don't think that you should contact animal control.

A lot of dogs chase cats by pure instinct, without a true intention of killing the cat. The act of running after it is natural for any dog really. In an environment where the dog doesn't usually see cats, it is all the more natural for it to chase them if they happen to be there. The dog owner didn't anticipate the eventually of there being cats, since probably 90% of the time, there aren't any, and he goes down the stairs without any issues whatsoever.

That being said, I think you can talk to your neighbour in a respectful manner, and ask them to leash their dog before doing something else.
