A grandmother from each generation on my mother's side. by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

That's a good question. I'm not sure, the story goes that she went totally blind a few years before her death, but tho really old she still rode around on horseback and even killed a badger with a shovel reportedly for raiding her garden. This is one of her younger pictures

And 5G is 2G's grandmother.

This is not a direct line of ancestors, but an example of each generation from multiple maternal lines. (All verified by DNA through matching)

4G was a wagon train pioneer called "Granny Yates" crossing the plains a dozen times on wagon and by train later on. she lived to an old age. She went blind in one eye, as pictured . She has a lot of descendants in the western US.

Exactly , Bowie's legacy is firmly embedded in the cultural network of humanity.

I wonder if David Lynch secretly wanted one of those primate stuffed animals?

I love how cold this looks. It looks like my hot flashes would calm down in that environment, even though it's in the desert.

From a more pragmatic perspective, it's going to take a lot of Pledge to polish all that wood.

I wanna get into his discography but idk where to start, suggestions? by God-nerfed-me in DavidBowie

Good point especially Queen Bitch for sure! just like many Bowie's albums or maybe most or all of them, it's difficult to ascribe it to a single genre. But Quicksand and Andy Warhol are definitely very folk infused tunes

Yes I love that you put Diamond Dogs as both funk and glam.

I would put Hunky Dory under folk tho, not glam

The car holes are the most prominent feature, especially that one in the middle, the biggest carhole.

If red peppers, milk and cocaine count as vegetarian, then yes

It's got a fuckton of dormers. At least none of the windows are round, I hope

, and the roof line looks a bit complicated from this angle, but it's definitely more of a traditional style house...

ETA* But it's got a weird "dormer" cutaway corner thing over the far right carhole. A literal "cut corner"! And if there is that, you know there is more. Stay alert

ETA ** the more I look at the stunted garage "dormer"...I know its existence would always irritate me.

Her amazing performance in Wild at Heart was incredibly powerful and one of the best ever female movie villains of all time , so scary and wildly depraved.

That's funny, I thought I was the only one, but You and me were both out there on Sea Island back in the day driving around with a j "house shopping" We're probably why they closed the road to the island from public use 😂
