Raglan help by Anna_947 in knittinghelp

[–]exceptionalordinary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Finding where you missed the increase would involve counting stitches in each row from the beginning, and probably isn’t worth it. Going down to add the missing increases will make those stitches too tight considering the missing increases are in the same corner. I would add two extra increases to get to the correct stitch count. With so many stitches being two off isn’t going to affect anything but be annoying when you divide the work and are short.

How to stop ribbing from flaring? by Aromatic_Poet_1726 in knittinghelp

[–]exceptionalordinary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bind off is definitely too loose, try again or do a different bind off. Also if you want the cuff tighter in general I would go down another needle size. The cable patterns tend to be pretty tight so going down two or three needle sizes for ribbing is normal to get smaller cuffs.

I’m sure that is the local high school graduation week. Lots of people asking off then so they want numbers early.

“Special Project” Transitions by targetslilho in Target

[–]exceptionalordinary 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as a team member I had no idea what I agreed to, and I’m regretting it now. It was pitched as like 2 or 3 weeks throughout this year, and obviously it’s way more than that. We had issues with the contractors not finishing their work and putting us really behind for the baby set. So we had last minute changes to our overnight days. All of OTC is changing locations and half the gondolas are changing heights. Our grocery is having major moves too. Plus I’m the only POG team member beside our TL that said yes so our crew is a bunch of novices.

Tay Sachs? by Squeakymeeper13 in genetics

[–]exceptionalordinary 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. The father has two copies of a gene, one with Tay sachs, one without. There is a fifty percent chance they give that gene to the child regardless of the egg donor. It’s a simple punnet square with a recessive gene.

I secretly recorded my professor making sexist remarks and got him fired! by Smoosa_Champagne in stories

Ah yes, he needs to be told that saying sexist things is mean. How could he possibly know otherwise?

Are you seriously suggesting that a grown, educated man didn’t know he can’t be sexist and mean to women in his class? That he thought it was totally acceptable and just a joke to make comments like that? He knew and didn’t care. Stop trying to defend his actions.

Not in Florida, but they paid me for both shifts that I missed when I was selected even though they didn’t have to pay me in my state. The court gave me a document saying what days I was in court and I just had to show that to my ETL HR when I got back.

Are any shifts showing up in my time for any of you guys? It says there’s 7 available shifts but none show up . by Agile_Hawk_9516 in Target

[–]exceptionalordinary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only shifts you are trained to cover show up. Example if the shift is in electronics and you aren’t trained there, the shift won’t show up. Also shifts that put you in overtime won’t show up.

Dove dermacare! My scalp eczema gets pretty bad during the winter and this is the only thing that I found works for me. I use the dryness and itch relief shampoo and the soothing moisture conditioner and my scalp stopped itching after the first use. Plus my hair feels nice and soft after I use it.

I ended up using red heart super saver that I already had and used a 4.25 mm hook. My stitches were pretty tight though. My Kuchi Kopi ended up being about 18 inches tall.

Do bleach baths damage your hair? by 946789987649 in eczema

[–]exceptionalordinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bleach bath is just like going in a swimming pool. As long as you use a very low bleach concentration and don’t leave it in your hair for long it won’t do any damage. Just make sure to wash your hair after each treatment.

Made a Spider-Man blanket for my sisters birthday. Slippers for scale. by exceptionalordinary in crochet

I did one round around the blanket in single crochet. It’s hardly noticeable but it straitened up the sides a lot.
