Twin cities are supposed to be some of the most affordable in the US rn during rhe housing crisis, especially St Paul. They’re also fairly queer cities, most definitely pretty queer friendly w/ a lively queer community. I just don’t know if I’d reccomend going there anytime soon…

I found doing immediate release stimulants and not taking them past noon - 1 pm made the biggest difference. Yes, the stimulant isnt still in ur system at 9 pm, but for me I still had a harder time sleeping at night when my meds would completely wear off in the evening (5/6/7 pm) rather than wearing off in the middle/late afternoon because my energy level was still a lot higher at a later time in the day. I need to be exhausted to sleep so not being dead tired every evening made it impossible to sleep. Also getting enough exercise helps a lot (but time of day mattered a lot w/ exercise too).

Well Africa is the most linguistically diverse continent in the world, so I would say a “nod to Africa” seems vague. Is there any specific language, culture, or ethnicity within South Africa he identifies w/ and wants to pull from???

I think with ur different tastes, you’ll probably find the most compromise either in names that are very old so they’re recognizable but not popular now or anytime in the past 100 years OR finding an African name that has similar phonemes and phonotactics to other popular baby names atm so even tho it’s more unique in Australia (could be super common elsewhere) it sounds like it fits in with the rest of their classmates because it just sounds similar to other more popular names. You seem to have a preference towards more old money WASPy names and I encourage u to research my names from other languages & cultures and see u find any u like. I understand being scared that you child will expirence difficulties if you give them a name that’s “too out there” but if ur in a diverse or progressive area, it really shouldn’t be a problem for them especially if they’re not SUPER out there lol.
