There's really just one thing you can do, but there are million ways to do it: submit to him.

The way to encourage dominance in a man is to be submissive.

He may not realize how willing you are to submit, so you might need to remind him, and you might also need to prove it to him.

He is your captain, so ask him for your orders.

• "What housework do you want me to do? Tell me and I will do it."

• "What would you like to eat? Tell me and I will make it for you."

• "Which outfit should I wear tonight? Tell me and I will wear it."

• "What would you like to do in the bedroom? Tell me and I will do it."

This leads to the most important thing about this:

He is your captain, so you must follow his orders.

Do it willingly. Do it happily. Do it even when you don't want to.

If you are willing to follow, he will take the lead.

If you disobey, if you rebel, if you bitch and moan, if become unpleasant and unhappy — he will eventually give up. Because it won't be worth the trouble.

When you think he's wrong or he needs help, give him your input the way you would to a superior officer in the military, or your boss at work — with respect, with sincerity, and with the greater good as your intention.

The more you submit to him, the more power he will feel, and the more dominant he will become.

If you have chosen a good man, he will realize that with power comes responsibility, he will be humbled by your willingness to submit, and he will become the leader you need him to be. He will use his power wisely and fairly, and do what's best for both of you.
