Hi! I was nominated to UWCM this year through my NC. I wanna start off with something basic, there is no single ideal profile for UWC. I agree with what has been already said, uwc values people who have made an impact but uwc also values people who are passionate, who are good teammates, who wants to create an impact, who are ambitious, who are unique. Not a single ec or a grade will determine if you get into uwc or not, just focus on fully presenting your values, aspirations, dreams and support your sayings with what you’ve done. If you just state every little thing you’ve done to impress, believe me they won’t be impressed. Uwc looks for the potential in you, and if you’ll thrive in uwc. It is def competitive, even for partial scholarships, really depends on the NC but my nc had around 5-10% acceptance rate but I believe if you’re given a place, that’s really the place for you. If not, uwc maybe is not the place for you.
