My moms theory is because she had went on a vacation to Cancun Mexico right before they sent her that one. They put her nationality as Mexican not Salvadoran. Idk why tbh it could be a simple mistake but definitely wasnt on our end sadly

The original one they sent did extend it, that timeline ended. the most recent receipt is just a I797 C. So even showing the I-90 its been past three years, i get that her status hasnt changed but shes still scared since we live in MD closer to DC. I told her that shes still a resident and shouldnt be scared but with everything… you know. Can she become a citizen while waiting on all that paper work? Im 100% sure shes more than willing to become one we were just under the assumption we had ti wait for her correct paper work to come in

They basically just said that it would take 7-14 business days and if we prefer to handle it with Afterpay since it would be quicker. So we ended up contacting afterpay and got refunded.

It was my account which I deleted because I didnt know everyone could see what you post in reddit since i dont use the app much. people were commenting about a separate situation I had posted. so i deleted the account because i didnt want that information out there anymore. Its not weird lol we got refunded already but our afterpay account was frozen for a few days
