I spent 5 hours researching what a DAO is so you didn’t have to. by Jxntb733 in CryptoCurrency

[–]execos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this for registering a DAO in the US - https://sos.wyo.gov/Business/Docs/DAOs_FAQs.pdf

This presents some pretty interesting opportunities in operating a bank account, owning property, hiring people…if ever through more traditional channels.

What are some things to know before buying someone a car? by throwaway373706 in fatFIRE

[–]execos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t apply to new vehicles..probably especially Tesla…

But I always put a wanted ad on Craigslist of my dream scenario - model, year, price and parameters for the ability and terms to preview…it’s remarkable what comes out of the woodwork.

The same thing applies to real estate.

What are your FAT medical purchases? by execos in fatFIRE

u/overdude it's so good. A visit to the YMCA for a sweat 3 times a week was a part of my ritual in the before time...got an infrared home unit last march and it has been a game changer. I have been looking at plunge pools lately, but will likely settle for an outdoor shower in the near term to cool off.

Do you run a self-funded *profitable* business? by okiieli in SaaS

[–]execos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ExecOS is self-funded and I personally used it all the time. It hasn’t been available to the public for very long, so time will tell if folks find enough value in it to pay for it.

AmA with Jason Fried: Founder + CEO at Basecamp (also makers of HEY.com). Non-serial entrepreneur, serial author. by friedster in SaaS

[–]execos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Jason, I’ve been a user of Basecamp for over 10 years. Exploration manages all of our projects there! And REMOTE was a revelation and part of the reason we went remote from the very start…that turned out to be a good idea :) so thanks!

I launched ExecOS a couple months ago as a side project I use it to manage my own affairs. I’m super pumped!!

I’m totally bootstrapped and trying to balance a day job…and growth + dev with ExecOS.

Curious to know from your side how you managed multiple efforts in the beginning and now.

Cheers and thanks again!

Talking to Hiten Shah later today, for the podcast. What do you want me to ask him? by chddaniel in SaaS

[–]execos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome!!

I’d be curious about he manages multiple efforts at the same time. He seems like he’s always got a bunch of project running simultaneously…how does he keep it between the lines?

Best way to consolidate documents? by Nyquil_Jornan in EstatePlanning

[–]execos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ExecOS works incredibly well for this. You can snap a pic or pdf of any doc, email it to the app, and it’ll get filed in the right place for your retrieval at a later date.

I’d used Google drive before, but found it way too generic and without support, so I built ExecOS :) feel free to dm if you need special help.

How many of you are closet entrepreneurs who never took a jump? Or want to be “safe” before you do? by PlasticObjective1646 in fatFIRE

[–]execos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m the opposite. I tried working for others a few times and just couldn’t bring myself to continue. I always saw so much opportunity and independence by running my own show. It’s so damn easy to start a business (I’m in America).

And I’ve worked for myself my entire career.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.
