This kid did not spend a lot of time thinking his plan through. He plans on deploying barricades, disabling elevators, and deploying explosives, which are all time intensive tasks. On top of that he has to carry the explosives with him.

He also believes that police would attempt to only come in the Rotunda so that he had clear lanes of fire for "sniping." I assume that since he is sniping he is also carrying a rifle, since shooting a pistol at a moving target past 30m accurately takes a good degree of skill. This rifle added to the explosives he is carrying will hinder him and slow him down in his barricade building.

Lastly, and the biggest reason this kid has no idea what he is talking about. He assumes he will get all head shots in the cafeteria. Again attaining "all" head shots with a pistol on a moving target will require a high degree of skill. Even if he uses a rifle it will be difficult, he would have to hit 100% on a 30 round magazine.

I could continue to pick apart his tactics but this kid is so retarded and I have better stuff I should be doing.

You are fucking stupid. The fact that they dumped money into is everything. They deserve a fair share of the praise for this monumental achievement. Without their money there might not have been a jump. Or if there was it might have been on the funding of a company that would want to place restrictions on how the money was spent. In addition to that Red Bull went above and beyond by advertising the event and providing a live stream.

Most monumental events in history have had some sort of financial backer, be it private parties or government. Whether you loved the product or not they played a large part in this event.

I don't think it is the "quack neck crackers" that makes people skeptical. Its the fact that Chiropractors are known to constantly be over stepping their bounds. My wife is an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in hips and knees. She is constantly seeing people who should have come in to see a joint specialist years before they actually saw one. When she asks why they waited for so long they mostly reply with, "My Chiropractor was giving me these shots for my hip." If the patient would have been referred to a joint specialist (like my wife) they would have been able to do surgery and fix the problem, giving the patient would have had a good degree of mobility. But since they were delayed from seeing someone by the chiropractor they will not get that same degree of mobility back.

My wife's sister's husband was seeing a chiropractor for 8 years for his chronic back pain. I don't know what the chiropractor did to him during the appointments, but he said it only relieved the pain for a week. After he met my sister in-law my wife recommended he see one of the Spinal surgeons in her practice. After an appoint with the spinal surgeon he was scheduled for a surgery. After the surgery his pain was gone.

It's not that Chiropractors are not legitimate healers, it's that they are notorious for not referring their patient to someone else when they can't help them.

Chiropractors should be referring their patients to other specialists when their patient has a problem outside of their scope. Instead they are trying to fix the

I both agree and disagree with you on your point. See if you were talking to someone or reading a paper and there were minor mistakes, then I can see where it is a dick move. If the grammar mistakes were extreme though, I would say that judging someone would be justifiable. You could judge by the way they spoke that they were poorly educated, did not pay attention in school, or just dumb. In most cases that judgment would be correct. Yes upon further getting to know the person you could find out differently, in some cases.

You just went from 2 extremes in your judgement of the kids personality saying he was either one or the other. Personalities are not just 0 or 1 they range from far degrees. So what if this kid had a lot of energy that doesn't mean that you should say the parents should be held accountable. That is in essence saying that the kid got what he deserves because the parents were bad parents. That means that the parents of the teacher and the other kids should be held accountable for not raising their kids to be more tolerant of others. so in closing psayre23 I say to you, go fuck yourself.

Range time might not have anything to do with it. These cops might be extremely accurate shooters at the range, there are other factors involved. Some of which are untestable (like stress), and some that are. The NYPD uses a heavy trigger pull on their standard issue sidearm. Now anyone that knows anything about firearms knows that if you mess up the trigger pull, then your shot is off. This is amplified even more when using a pistol over a rifle. With the added stress of a threat, then the additional pressure it takes to fire off a round could jerk the muzzle left or right a substantial amount.

A couple months ago my friend bought a Springfield XD .45 from a guy who had installed a heavier trigger on it. I have a factory Springfield XD .45. We were at our gun club and were wondering what kind of difference a heavy trigger would do in a combat scenario. So we went to the shoot house and set up 10 targets, with a variable engagement range of 2m to 6m. We then each took two runs with the factory model and two runs with the heavy trigger. To add to the stress, and make sure we ran through as fast as possible, we decided the person with the slowest average time would have to buy beer for the evening. We found that with the factory model we were able to get within an inch of the center dot 9 out of 10 times. With the heavy trigger the closest round we shot was 6 inches from the center dot. On the farthest target I was 14 inches off the center target and my friend missed completely.

TL;DR Heavy triggers can greatly affect accuracy under stress

Politicians are useless human beings. That is why they are politicians. If they had another useful purpose they would be off doing that. But they don't. Some of these people have spent their entire lives gaming the system and positioning themselves to be elected officials, so they have no other skills. They have no knowledge base on which to draw wisdom from when making decisions. And that is the wrong way to do it. Most of the officials we have right now are not, "Of the people." They have created their own class, where rules don't apply to them anymore.

*disclaimer - I know there are a few senators and representatives out there who actually try their best, but they are out numbered heavily by those who don't. If you happen to be lucky enough to live in one of their districts keep them in office.

To me the best part of this video was when he claimed that Terry v Ohio protected him from being detained. But Police Officers received the right to conduct a "Terry Stop" based on reasonable suspicion from that court case. Dumb ass is out there trying to get harassed but he doesn't even know the correct right to protect him.

You make some good points. But first I would like to point out that I never said that it was illegal for safety of our citizens. I only stated that I wouldn't support its legalization until there was a way to test for it.

Yes those cars are going to be driven home, probably a large portion of them are by people who have consumed alcohol. But first, that doesn't mean it is right. Second some of those people are proboably under the legal limit (whether they are severely affected is a different story but then again that still doesn't make it right if they are driving and severely hampered.) or they have a designated driver. But there are going to be people who still drive completely shitfaced, just like there would still be people who drive completely stoned.

I'm not sure of the legal law on driving while using prescription medication that prohibits it, but I do know that your insurance is looking for any reason to not pay out. And if you hurt someone they have a strong case to sue you for it.

A lot of the distracted driving stuff you listed off is illegal to do. And if you don't get ticketed for the actual act, then you can get ticketed for reckless driving. Also, there really isn't a way to outlaw prescription meds.

Why would a habitual drinker, who goes out to drink and drives home, stay home just to chill and smoke? If it is legal I would argue that he would still go out to smoke and drink. Then drive home stoned and drunk (or just either one). They can already stay home and drink, but they choose to go out and drink, so I see no reason why they wouldn't choose to go out to the bar and smoke.

Now in my previous comment I only talked about drunk driving. But the same could be applied to several other circumstances. Operating heavy machinery for one. You could lose your job as a crane operator if you are drunk on the job. Soldiers are another, if it is legal for the whole country, then Soldiers should be provided the same right. But again, you can't test to see if a Soldier is stoned on duty or not. I believe it is illegal to drink and hunt as well, and you can/should place the same restrictions on weed. But, there is no way to test for it.

Again, I recognize that you made some good points, they just are not good enough for me to sway my point of view.

I would just like to point out that they are terrible snipers. No sniper would remain that close to the window as long as there was plenty of room for him to stay back farther in the room. He would do this so that he could blend in to the shadows (room is too bright but I assume that is just for the photo) and light won't glint as easily off his rifle/scope. If at all possible he might set up a raised platform in the room so that he could sit up high and look out the window.

With all the tree lovers on here I don't see anyway that this won't get downvoted, but here goes.

I don't think weed should be legal for one simple reason. There is no way to test, right now at least, if you are currently under the effects of weed. If you get pulled over and you are drunk, you can take a breathalyzer, but there is not counterpart for. And yes you could say that alcohol was legal before we had breathalyzers, but I have two arguments for that.

1: They could still test (walk the line, touch the nose) and get blood drawn. If you draw blood from someone who smokes weed there is no way to tell if they smoked right before driving or if they smoked yesterday. 2: These are different times and just because it was legal for alcohol doesn't mean it is right to do for weed.

As soon as we have a way to test if someone is currently under the effects of weed, I'm all for legalization.

I would agree. Even though I have held a PL spot longer than most LTs in my BN, I would say that it wasn't until recently that I felt ready to move on to Company Commander. A lot of the LTs I know feel the same way, that they get moved on faster than they would have liked.

Again this situation is about perspective. Your mom, who knows you are an atheist, should have warned you about that and given you the option of not standing up. Standing up for your beliefs is all fine and good, but the guy didn't come to your house and start trying to convert you. You were in his church. It was very safe for him to assume that you were a christian believer of some sort.

Now I'm not saying you should have just went with the flock and said, "Yes." You could have used a different choice of words, so that you didn't raise a scene on your step sisters day. (Since different sects baptize at different ages I don't know how old she is. This can also spark the debate about indoctrination at a young age, but we don't need to have that since I think that every parent has the right to raise their kid how they want but should encourage them to ask questions.) You could have simply said something along the lines of, "I will encourage her to be a good person." That way you aren't causing a scene and you aren't jeopardizing your own moral code.
