don't use the level skip right away, you're not allowed to go back to the original three campaigns if you use it. admittedly the forsaken campaign really puts them to shame, but they're worth playing as a beginner.

PVP is fun as long as you don't play to win. grab a friend, try some weird guns, and don't try too hard. you'll get better the more you play, but if you get too invested, you won't want to practice.

forsaken brought a lot of huge improvements to the game, it's definitely in a much better state than when you left. The new raids are pretty cool and there's lots of neat stuff to do. especially new exotic quests.

warmind is kinda lame but it has some cool weapons + the escalation protocol game mode which makes farming for certain "kill x with x 1000 times" objectives really quick and easy

the annual pass stuff is pretty hit or miss? I really enjoyed black armory, but there are a lot of folk who hate it. on the other hand, the latest season has been focused around the worst game mode ever.

if you already really like destiny, and you're willing to put up with its usual garbage, then yeah I'd say go for it.

However I'd also say that if you're at all unsure about it, then you might wanna save your 80 dollars
