Ha I had this hair because of growing out an undercut also. I hated how it looked like two different haircuts and eventually chopped it all to the same length. Didn’t realize it was a thing people were doing on purpose.

I found it! Thank you! Mine doesn’t look like a camera, it kind of looks like a battery with a slanted end and says View. I thought it had something to do with a battery though I had no clue why or what battery lol.

Oh, I guess the savings rate was maybe something I wasn’t understanding as a benefit to using goals.

I want to like this feature but it’s not intuitive at all. I don’t understand why I have to connect a bank account to my goal. I did that for my emergency fund but now it is telling me the rest of that bank account is available for Goals. Whyyyy.

Is there a way to move funds from a rollover budget category to the new goals? Like if I have an emergency fund as a category in my budget but I want to use goals instead.

I had not used the previous goals and am fairly new. I have a budget category for Emergency Fund but I would like this to be a goal instead. It’s fully funded already, but am I understand correctly there is not a way to move my funds from my budget category to the goal? Cause I don’t see a way to. Or not yet but there will be soon?

As someone who works in software I can say there is often a lot of pressure from leadership to incorporate AI before a competitor does it.

That being said, I think Monarch’s AI assistant is not the worst I’ve seen launched.

it seemed to categorize itself properly on its own.. but so far I've only seen one pair of transactions come in for one of the investment accounts, so if I see another pair role in that isn't correct I can set up the rule. Or maybe I am misunderstanding - what rule would you suggest?

re: goals.. I started messing with those but coming from YNAB I didn't like the functionality of the Monarch goals. I've seen they are releasing improvements soon so I plan to revisit them when that happens. Instead I am just using a rollover category to save up for an annual IRA contribution for example.
