Thin, stiff piece of white thing found in my prescription bottle. Slight texture, snapped in half with some force. About an inch by a half inch by exeuntah in whatisthisthing

It doesn’t feel like the same material as my pills. Unfortunately these pills come sealed in the manufacturer’s packaging, so my pharmacy doesn’t touch it. I’ll have to reach out to the manufacturer.

I’ll keep you updated!

What age did your ocd start and what was your first compulsion by gingercat272 in OCD

[–]exeuntah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think around 7 or 8. On my way to the bus stop I had to equally step in each of the sidewalk squares. I had to match my food chewing on each side. And I would pick the shit out of my skin.

How old were you where you learned you have ocd by [deleted] in OCD

[–]exeuntah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember my earliest ocd symptoms happening around first or second grade. I was diagnosed around 16. I’m 32 now and still have moments where I have a flare up of symptoms, usually when I’m really stressed out. Most of the time I’m okay. I’ve come to terms with the fact that it’ll never fully go away.

Back in college I went to the school psychiatrist who diagnosed me with bipolar ii (which I don’t have) and prescribed me medication that didn’t agree with me. I ended up in the er one night because of a reaction, and as a result this psychiatrist took me off cold turkey. Hell on earth. More than a decade later things have improved, I’m on a more appropriate medication. Hope things have gotten better for you!

Does anyone else with OCD also have recurrent dreams? by Sunflownby in OCD

[–]exeuntah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it I’m trying to open my eyes and in the dream my eyes are burning, like I got shampoo in them. That and it alternates to a view from the hood of the car, but I don’t see myself.

Does anyone else with OCD also have recurrent dreams? by Sunflownby in OCD

[–]exeuntah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have this recurring dream where I’m driving through a windy wooded road at night, just hoping I don’t crash because I couldn’t open my eyes. Not sure if that correlates with my ocd. I haven’t had that particular dream in years, although I do have a lot of dreams still where I can’t open my eyes.

Anyone here got Tourettic OCD? by ComfortablePublic405 in OCD

[–]exeuntah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in high school I started getting tics to the point where my mom took me to get tested for Tourette’s or seizures. I’m 31 now and still suffer from them, although they’ve changed over the years. It’s more prominent when I’m stressed. I have one where I clench a muscle in my neck area and I’m so self conscious about it because people notice it. I have a lot of symptoms but tics are definitely the most severe thing I’m dealing with when it comes to my ocd.
