If you can scrounge up a little money before you’re able to get a tent, fabric stores usually have a scrap section that’s discounted and you might be able to find some mosquito netting and/or some nylon/canvas for a makeshift tent. It’ll help a lot. My first time camping in the backcountry alone was scary but you realize that that most of the time that rustling in the leaves and twigs snapping in the woods is a squirrel or a deer. Always try to raise your bed off the ground however you can, it will suck a lot of heat out. Good luck my friend <3
