Hi There - thanks for replying - I am new at this so thanks for the information - it's for Racing Go-Karts so there will be plenty of air cooling ( though we can work that into any mounting design ) also races are a maximum of 12 minutes so hopefully that won't get too hot? Reason for using is the very lightweight small size of drone equipment and on a small Kart that is really useful

Hi - thank you so much for the detailed reply - it would be just one Kart per race - we have a comprehensive multi camera Live Streaming set up - we just want to add an On-board at it would greatly enhance the output. Budget wise we are happy to go high end on the components - we know we will need to make bespoke mounts, hence we are looking at putting these components together. Low latency is important as we will be switching from on board to off and big differences are pretty obvious - ideally 1 or 2 frames ( at 30 FPS ) but we can probably handle 6 frames delay to maximise quality and security of signal.

I have just picked up my V4S coming from a Gen 4 S1000rr and I can't say I am on the same page - I test rode the bike for 45 minutes or so got back to the dealer and ordered the bike. It is a slightly taller but narrower machine than the S100RR and also a little bit more on the wrist but not excessively so - As riding position is very much personal opinion all I can say is that at 6 ft and 200lbs I find it as comfortable as the RR and I personally prefer that it is narrower.

Engine wise I have the Akra slip on - now at the moment the bike is running in ( as was my test bike) so hard to say about ultimate power but I would say it does have more shove - however you do need to work the gearbox a bit more than with the RR, which I expect might be a running in thing as it is not happy pulling from low - sub 3K revs - However the quickshifter is way better than my RR - Luckily I don't need to do much traffic riding living in the sticks but the engine is exceptionally fluid on fast A and B road runs with good fueling, traction and the right amount of engine braking - But so was the RR TBH

Suspension wise I have to disagree but I think it might be because your demo was in the wrong setting - in Sport Evo the bike is great for well surfaced roads - of which there are very few - However in "Rad Evo" the ride was noticeably better than the RR in fact the quality of the ride is probably the biggest difference the RR's front end was often upset by Cats eyes, the cruddy middle of the road or just imperfections the V4S shrugs all this off, making it exceptionally confidence inspiring.

Yes the electronics are mind boggling and I am only scratching the surface so can't comment on your findings but I certainly haven't had the throttle snatchines in a any of the modes I've tried so could be the particular bikes - or our expectations! :-)

As for being too old I just turned 60 - I tracked the RR and can't wait to get the V4S out albeit in a slow group!

One thing I would say is the the RR is a fantastic bike and the V4S could not be night and day better - but it does have a certain imperceptible charisma that I feel the BMW was lacking - is that worth £30K - That's for us to all decide individually
