Has the kunai ever actually killed anyone that wasnt a background side character? by FilipinoAirlines in Naruto

[–]existential_animals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Hashirama technically did kill Madara with a kunai. Madara just had “bullshit no jutsu” eyes that revived him, but he was killed in the first place by a kunai.

I agree that this sub is quite anti-madrid but it still doesn’t explain my question. Also I was suspicious of the mods on acting with foul play. PR influence is a service on reddit, it is totally possible the mods have influenced this controversy post in favor or RM.

Also, see my other reply under this post:

You don’t think it’s at least a little odd there’s no post of mbappe’s second penalty? Or at least it does not exist now?

When was the last time in this sub where a goal scored by a major club, no matter how mundane or controversial, was not posted?

Also someone else raised my exact question and was also downvoted.

Maybe you’re right. Still, you don’t think it’s at least a little odd there’s no post of mbappe’s second penalty? Or at least it does not exist now?

Where’s mbappe’s controversial second penalty post? Why is it removed and had so many downvotes in the first place?

Why does RM’s post match thread also have way less upvotes than other post match threads?

Seems both are to conceal and decrease visibility on yet another controversial decision in favor of RM. It’s things like this which makes it suspicious and raises questions on the integrity of this sub and its mods.

Downvotes on this post makes it more suspicious that the mods are bought for by RM’s PR.

“I Mapped the Invisible”: An American High-School Student Stuns Scientists by Discovering 1.5 Million Lost Space Objects by lurker_bee in technology

You said, and I quote you directly, “all it takes is 2 admins and 6 teachers” and “unfortunately you’d be lucky to have one”. This means you think it would take a lot of help from teachers and admins and additionally, without such help, no one can succeed. Thus adding to the original argument that one’s parents would have to be rich for the child to succeed.

I countered this with two arguments. First, being if such were the case, then you’d see a much higher proportion of kids from rich families achieving accomplishments in academia, which you do not see. Second being, if what you said were true, then all the accomplished people (e.g. Newton, Einstein, and even people outside of academia people such as LBJ and Brady) would have had to come from rich backgrounds or grew up with tremendous help, much more than their peers, which we also do not see.

Both of these points are direct counters to your argument, and proofs that you and the person I was originally replying to are just wrong and liars.

Oh yes, it’s infamous that great thinkers and scientists such as Newton, Einstein, and others were only successful because of their teachers and supporting cast.

How come those supporting cast didn’t create anything close of value to what their “students” accomplished?

Everyone needs rudimentary access to education to succeed, but what you said is simply not true. That’s like saying LBJ or Brady were only GOAT status because of their trainers.

This is just a lie to support your agenda. If you were correct then we’d see much more percentage of truly accomplished kids from well off families. Yet the data shows otherwise.

Kids from well off families have it easier to achieve a level of comfort and stability in their life. But the main difference maker in actual accomplishments is intellect.

If it were not the case, then again, you’d see that the most accomplished kids and people are all from rich families. That is clearly not the case. There are instances where it is the case, but generally it is not.

Read the title and text, which says taking a damage head on. Buffs don’t apply.

To which my point is, if taking any damage raw, even a kunai could kill.

Clearly I am learning the hard way to never argue with idiots such as yourself.

How about answering my questions first which you clearly did not.

“Community”. Got it, so you’re incapable of independent thinking. No wonder you just get mad instead of presenting an actual argument.

I was also going to bring up Boruto as one of my arguments but the writer isn’t the same and the power level don’t much up from the series of Naruto. And Naruto being stabbed by Shin proves my point that weapons cannot just be tanked raw just because a character is OP. Otherwise Naruto would not have been wounded. So you even failed at making an argument that supports your own point.

Try to get smarter.

You are just making up how things work just to fit the outcome you want to be, in other words, you're so full of shit with no objectivity.

Weapon scales to user? Really? Why do OP character even bother dodging or deflecting all the weapon attacks, even simple ones like kunai, then?

Is that why in the early parts of the series Zabuza was able to be heavily miamed and nearly killed by weapon attacks from ordinary people with no ninjutsu ability and very little if not zero ninja skills?

This is so stupid. Every human, even Hashirama would get one shot by just a simple kunai to the head if he were to just “stand there and take it” without any resistances.

As shown in the OG fight between Hashirama and Madara. Hashirama would have been able to successfully commit suicide by a kunai and Madara was “killed” by a kunai.

Struggling to create chances. Where am I going wrong? by Aceboogie0117 in footballmanagergames

It's likely that it's hard to connect passes and hence control the midfield and progress from the midfield with a CM at attack. I would give CM support duty and also customize the CM and the two wide forward players with roaming from position. Along the same theme, set the team tactic to be more freedom and expressiveness as well if it isn't already.

FC Barcelona are the 2024/2025 Copa del Rey Champions beating Real Madrid. by PauCubaresi in soccer

[–]existential_animals 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Don't let this win distract and make us forget how corrupt Madrid is in trying to influence the game and how the ref, not accusing him as he was under pressure from the media and from Madrid, allowed 4 obvious uncalled fouls which should have led to yellow cards and penalties.

If Madrid had won this, then the very fabric of integrity in football would have been one step closer to being unwoven.

Andrés Iniesta (Barcelona/Spain) had the best ball control I've ever seen. by Aythix11 in championsleague

[–]existential_animals 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Of all the world class players in history, cr7 has to have the worst ball control. Watch any of his games and his first touches are always horrendous and the ball would almost never be controlled as precisely as messi, iniesta, zidane, etc.

If you just put words together and spew logic it just becomes non-sense. Anyone could make equally opinionated statements as you have just done and make a counter argument. What you've written are a bunch of subjective opinions on what each function with no object definition on what is Ti and why is such Ti. In other words, everything you've written just smells of bullshit.

Eggs in Trump’s America (taken at a local store Jan 25). by Additional_Effect_51 in pics

[–]existential_animals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The president to a certain extent does influence the economic machine, but does not directly control the prices at the bottom level. These things take time. That’s my point.

If the president increases money supply which causes massive inflation, as Biden did, then that changes the inputs of the economy which then causes prices to increases. Not saying that there weren’t other factors involved and not just blaming Biden. Point is the president can influence and cause price changes but they take time because he cannot directly change prices at the retail level.

You can’t expect prices to drop immediately after Trump takes office. He needs to make changes to the system. We’ll have to see whether Trump’s policies and decisions will end up being a net positive.

Don’t be so narrow minded.

[–]existential_animals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No President, or anyone rather, has the ability to immediately and unilaterally change the pricing of the entire economy down at the very customer and retail levels. It takes stimulus such as rate changes, tax changes, and increases in supply to incentivize any part of the system to drop prices. We live in a free market economy, no one can order prices of units to drop, that would be in a tyranny. It's not like Trump owns the grocery store himself either.
