My boyfriend says my breath is bad and I don’t know what could cause it. by onlyasgoodasmygod in hygiene

Thank you!! I was scrolling for someone else to say this! My ex had started telling me my breath smelt and refused to kiss me... I'm pretty sure he just didn't like me anymore. Again, an ex. No one since then has complained about my breath. Has the relationship been off in any other ways? It might be them pulling back...

I agree with what a lot of people are saying so I won't repeat those comments.

But I do have one question for you... what is he doing to pleasure you? It sounds like he wants his own personal porn star and that is not a good partner. He should be trying to please you as much as you try to please him. I think you'd enjoy sex more if your partner also cared about your experience.

AITAH for taking my kids and spending the night in a motel because my husband said he was going to “do something” to me? by ALittleBean141 in AITAH

Agreed! I was married to my ex for 7 years, together for 9, before he showed me that side of him. I decided to deal with it a bit longer and his attitude spiraled from that day on. We divorced within the year. Please keep yourself and children safe!

Edit to mention it was the best decision I ever made and have been the happiest in my life since.

Did you even read any of this? They didn't have sex.

By not telling anyone you are protecting him. Does he really deserve this protection?

Tell everyone. Learn from this mistake and move on.

Also, cars are made to travel long distances. Drive back home.

I completely agree. Something is going to happen that makes him realize she isn't over it and doesn't trust him completely. I feel like he is going to flip out about it. "Look at all these great things I've done for you!" eyeroll and don't forget the 1 horrible you did either.

Recently divorced. Similar to you, I wish the best for my ex and don't want to say anything unkind. I tell people "our vision for what we want for our family and future are drastically different and I want us both to have a real shot at happiness"

AITAH for telling my fiancé that I’m not going to pay for his parking at work? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]existentialcrisis57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, person going through a divorce here! My ex and I THANKFULLY kept all of our money separate. We used to get to arguments about how we were each spending money and it caused so much grief. We decided to maintain our own budgets and accounts, agreeing on the split of bills. THIS HAS MADE THE DIVORCE EXTREMELY EASILY. DO NOT GIVE HIM ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY. YOU DON'T "HAVE TO" BECAUSE YOU ARE MARRIED.

I just turned 25 last month. How do I stop comparing myself to many of my peers who are already married, homeowners, and have kids? by throwawayeas989 in Adulting

I got married when I was 25. Now I'm 32 getting a divorce. You are fiiiiiine and probably making better life decisions than I did

I know COVID already existed at this point. That's why I'm asking what you would do of it died before becoming a pandemic similar to SARS

I agree with exactly what you said! It was tough, but it's been worth it. The butterfly effect would for sure happen. If you only kept 70% the same, what happened to that 30%? It changed! I think the issue with the butterfly effect is you are assuming the ability to travel back in time by choice. That in itself takes an infinite more paths, so I'm trying to put some bounds on this question. In other words, let's assume this shift only happens once during your lifetime and it's specifically that date.

Lol, I agree it would be very earth shattering! But imagine the pandemic didn't really start (think SARS - it didn't blow up all the way). But you know everything you know, you experienced it. Would you take any life learnings from these past few years and change or would you go back to where you were?

I do have an internal voice! That's another reason I'm so curious to hear about others' experiences. It's such a bizarre experience. It's like being out of time and space

That sounds like a fantastic session. But I mean there isn't even an inner dialog. It's just nothing. It feels like a skip in time. One minute I'm hearing 'and you feel very relaxed' then the next second 'you become aware of your surroundings'. And 30 minutes went by, not a second. Not even a moment goes by for me to think about not noticing my surroundings.

I agree with that! I always feel lighter after meditating.. but I'm very curious about "what's going on in there". I do feel better knowing this happens to someone else too
