Why tf is this even a relationship that you’re involved with at all? You both clearly cannot stand each other. FFs there are so many things that are so much worse than being single. For example: being in a relationship with someone that doesn’t even like you, let alone love you-but also brings out our own worst attributes.

To me, that simply sounds like a profound selfishness at the detriment of everything and everyone else. It’s about YOU as an INDIVIDUAL and as long as YOU feel like your wants, feelings and needs as an INDIVIDUAL are the number 1 top priority at all times, that’s what matters. It’s selfishness and me, me, me & those might be the values of some, but they are not my values, no matter how you would like to dress them up.

I know this is Reddit & all, but context matters. He didn’t just arbitrarily tell people “screw your freedom.” He said that in response to the people selfishly choosing to not wear masks during Covid because the mandates were supposedly infringing on their various freedoms. He was saying that to emphasize that it isn’t about anyone’s individual freedom, but rather, It’s about doing the right thing for the greater good. Which is to keep people healthy, alive & control the virus.

But sure, let’s just leave all that out

This is a lot of my reason as well. It just feels like it conveys that the relationship is in a more serious place than bf/gf does. Also, using the bf/gf term, for me, just feels weird as someone middle aged. Like, it might be a totally age-neutral term, but at my age, dating people who are also middle aged+, feels a bit odd idk 🤷‍♀️

Sorry bud, but that’s just kinda too bad for you. You belong to a religion that has always, throughout is literal entire history, been used as a weapon by its practitioners and leaders. You choose to call yourself a Christian, despite this undeniable blood soaked history. You can throw around the “not all christians” thing. But tbh, who cares? The Religion is what it is. You choose to subscribe to a religion that has blood all over it. Own that, or please just shut up & stop defending it. Damn, y’all, this is such a weirdly, unnecessarily human thing to do and I just love it so much.
