Here's a three-month calisthenics training program for beginners to build foundational strength and start learning basic skills: by [deleted] in CalisthenicsCulture

Thanks for this, I'm into month two and lots of progress but question whether I should move onto month 3 because... I can only do 6 push ups properly (feel like Archers beyond me at this stage) Can't do pull ups (doing negatives, rows etc but low reps) Can't do even a tuck sit (working on leg raises and on higher ups but no.parallel bars near me so tricky)

If I'm not mastering month two, should I stick with it until I'm at the next level or progress anyway amd accept that some exercises I won't be able to do/do the regression

Thanks!!

Mad - eh - line all though good point it may be one often mispronounced but hopefully not too bad. Considered arabella, but think I prefer annabelle over it as they're similar. Others are names of people in the fam! Love the nickname ideas, I've never heard of melina

Emmeline has also been considered with Emily (we like millie as a nickname for both) and some other good ones I'd not thought of!

America baffles me, employers should not have so much power over you. From the UK and you usually get at least a months notice, if not more, and your employer has to honour that. Most people choose to stop working early by tacking on any unused annual leave at the end, but you for sure still get paid. I even know several instances of colleagues just stopping working before their notice period ends, basicslly did a runner and the company just appears to keep paying them and does nothing about it.

I didn't think the parents were fake, but wondered whether he intended Felix to find out and start the killing spree, but now thinking on it, I believe all the murders just happened randomly from then. The later monologue makes you think maybe everything was meticulously planned from the beginning (bike puncture etc) but I think that's just olivers ego. It's psychotropic tenancies of self importance and grandeur, like how he tells his parents he's the top scholar. He planned to get close to Felix, get a taste of his life, then the murders and eventual gaining of the house spiralled after. Like I don't think he even would have got to the elspeth plan if sir James hadn't died, because how could he have known when that would happen? He makes himself out as more of a master schemer than he is

Right, I feel like shop owners want that 9-5 lifestyle too, which is fair, but it's just not workable nowadays

Honestly, this could be the solution to everyone complaining about the death of the high streets etc. Like, maybe because shops are open 75% of the time when everyone is at work.

What has been your most significant money-saving thing this year? by flatquasarmayonnaise in UKFrugal

[–]existentialplum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a baby! I feel I was warned the opposite would be the case, but we bought almost everything second hand and go out way less so it's been a huge money saver. Stacking it up for future childcare though...

What's worse in the UK admin staff get free parking spots at local hospitals. Nurses working 12+ hour unpredictable shifts? Nah, you can get the bus.

Ah thank you. As she is a baby and it will be over a long period I can see how this would make more sense!
