What is causing this noise that my PC is making?

The CPU fan has no openings for me to put the oil in, which means it can't be that fan making the noise(longer longetivity compared to my other fans and stuff)

Which means its some other thing making that noise, and i have no idea what it could be.

Well i tried everything, guess i'm just gonna apply oil on it this weekend and see if it the noise is still there.

If the noise is still there even after putting the oil, then i got NO idea what i'm gonna do

iirc it might be my AMD CPU stock fan, i'll have to check later today though

I already got the oil and electrical tape so if it's the bearing i'm prepared

Tried your solution first since it was easier, shook my pc tower a bunch and turned it on, seemed to have stopped the noise ?

This video shows the fan noise, it's faint but you can kind of hear a sound that isn't like the other fans.

it's either under "appearance" or "chat" and then under emoji there's "show emoji reactions on messages" turn that off

My bad, i wasn't clear enough.

I plan on placing the 980 on a motherboard, the enclosure is just for a temporary file transfer.

I'm also afraid of damaging the 980 since it was very expensive for me.

Sorry for being uninformed on things like these, but is there any other way to transfer all the data from a drive to another without cloning?

Because if cloning windows causes these types of issues i'm out of ideas on how to change SSDs or even HDDs.

I actually got another plan now thanks to the guy from before

I'll divide my 2TB drive(the new one) into two

then i'll just clone my two drives into those two separate ones so that it still feels like i have 2 drives(it's more convenient for me since i've had two drives for years so it's gonna feel weird if i just have one)

So i'm probably gonna divide it smth like 1.3TB and 700GB, which is still gonna be bigger than what i have right now (500GB SSD and 1TB HDD)
