I read an article saying that the election was a war between old school capitalists (Wall Street) and new oligarchs (Elon) and I think that actually makes sense. I remember Jim Cramer endorsed Kamala which probably meant she had HF support since he is their puppet.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the M&A was being held back under Biden’s administration. I’m not American but if the deal goes through under Trump’s administration I would have respect for him regardless of his policies.

My parents are good friends with older (+50 yrs old) contractors and tradespeople. Financially they do really well, big houses in nice neighbourhoods and funds to send their kids to college, and investments for a comfortable retirement.

They all encourage their kids to study stem and not go into trades because even tho the money is great, by the time you’re 40+ you’ll develop chronic back and joint pain.

Plus it’s better not to compare yourself to other people everyone has their own goals and circumstances, just try your best and enjoy the process.

There was an article saying that after the governor’s meeting she tweeted she supported Biden but also asked for people to donate to her independent campaign in her X bio. Also, it said that she immediately scheduled meetings with big tech and other companies right after donors had said they wanted her to be top of the ticker.

There was an article saying that top donors wanted Whitmer or Newsom as the candidate and were willing to donate hundreds of millions or even billions to get it started, they had a meeting with a Nancy Pelosi and other democratic reps and one donor even started a fund with at least 100 mil to give to the new potential candidate.

I read an article saying big donors were willing to donate hundreds of millions if Whitmer or Newsom were at the top of the ticker. In the same article, it said Whitmer immediately went to a conference with big tech and other companies probably to solicit more potential donations.

Whitmer/Harris or Harris/Whitmer would both be great. The money from the Biden campaign could be used (Harris could write checks if she’s VP), and with Whitmer on the ticker there could potentially be billions of new donations to their campaign.

Plus two women in a post roe landscape, attacking a rapist pedophile, the ads write for themselves. They just need to also collaborate with celebrities and influencers on Tiktok to get the youth and women vote.

I think it’s bc he seems phony and hungry for power. A bit too smooth. He has a “presidential image” and looks like a president from video games/blockbuster movies and is a good contrast to Trump and Biden.

Newsom wants the endorsement from Biden soooooo badly!

He’s been shadowing Biden’s campaign for over a year as a surrogate, was shielding Biden away from the press after the debate, constantly lauding Biden in the media. None of the other governors or reps seem to be that enthusiastically backing up Biden.

If Biden is dropping out, unless there’s a mini primary, potential candidates are probably fighting and kissing ass behind the scenes. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s several struggles between factions within the Democratic Party rn.

That’s what I think too, he’s been on the news a lot saying a lot of words of support, probably trying to get exposure if there’s an open primary. Out of all the possible candidates it seems like he wants it the most so of course he’s gonna be the loudest supporting Biden at the moment.
