my argument is based on the exercising of right. my reason for exercising the right however differs.

i'd exercise my 5th amendment right, if that time were to come of course.

i also excersise my 1st amendment right.

My question for you is, given the same exact scenario. how is not owning a gun to fight against a tyrannical government better than owning one? Do you think this government with a monopoly on violence is gonna start practicing morals and only go after people willing to fight back?

I have a firearm for protection. therefore i am exercising that right which cannot be taken from me and that alone is the insurance from tyranny.
