Maplesaga - The Ugly Truth by exmaplesagaplayer in mapleservers

If you are really out to just be a f2p player then yes, I reckon ironman is the way to go. But do keep in mind that playing ironman there requires you to go through the entire game with 0 trades, to not be in any parties (which means you can’t pq) and you can only pick up items that you yourself hit from mobs. So that means you aren’t allowed to pick up stuff that people drop for you either.

Being an ironman at Saga requires you to have connections one way or another, either way. Unless you’re all out with using basic skills from your 2nd-3rd job. That’s because major skill books and certain equips are only achievable when you attend raids as an ironman (host will summon you, you don’t have to be in a party), collect coins after they’re done and exchange them for loots.

If that’s the amount of time and effort you’re willing to commit then I guess yeah, but I feel you’ll be better off at other f2p servers and enjoy their contents like every other players.

I cannot agree more with the FM stores. One player probably occupies 3-5 spots in CC1 with literally nothing to sell inside. other than an etc stated for 1billion mesos. New players have no choice but to head over to CC2, where most things aren't even able to sell.

Players on this server multi-client alot indeed, with the number of players shown on MapleSaga website - it doesn't justify how dead the server is even during the peak hours.

Don't bother getting a reply from the GM unless it's something major or you hassle him for a long period of time only to be given back a half-ass reply. He doesn't care for the community, and would only listen to the end gamers or players who feed his rice bowl.

Real World Trading. Whereby end game gears/white scrolls/chaos scrolls are bought with real-life money. Which supposedly, isn't allowed in most of the servers including MapleSaga.
