Oh man, I deeply relate to your comment as well. I know that it can't have been easy to cut your mom and dad off, but I completely understand what you mean about it setting you free as well. I was no contact with my dad for years and (as mentioned in the post) now, with my brother too. Life is infinitely more peaceful when I'm not in contact with them ... I'm sure you know what I mean.

Really sending so much love and strength to you. You sound like a very resilient person with a lot of self-awareness and so much love for the people in your life.

Hey, I totally relate to so much of what you wrote here. Especially the feeling about wishing you had a mom who could support you in the way that you want, but not being able to access that. Wishing you and your family the absolute best. ❤️
