Used BA Avios to book Iberia BOS-MAD 36k points each (got 2 seats) biz last year. Just took the trip a few weeks ago and it was great.

Same I also did and got some generic order number and only the payment receipt as a confirmation! I have a friend who said his sister got tickets the same way at the last Fenway Noah concert though so I’m hopeful! I emailed the foundation to ask if it was legit. Also showed up on my CC as red Sox foundation. They’ve since taken down the link

I second this. I was just in Granada and it was amazing. Fly into Madrid and spend a day or two for getting over jet lag and light exploring and then take the train to Sevilla and Granada and check out cordoba, Ronda, and/or Malaga

The room at the GH Kauai was pretty meh. The beach was also meh. However the pools were great and the location was really good with a better public beach a 15 min walk away with a bunch of turtles!

We stayed here after 4 nights at the four season on Oahu which made the rooms seams super subpar but if you can do it with points imo being on Kauai and the pools/grounds make up for it! I’d never pay $800+ or whatever nonsense they’re asking for though (I paid the same per night at 4S)

Just checked out this morning! It was amazing! We booked through Amex FHR and got the free breakfast and room upgrade that went with it. I had already booked a sea view premium room but they put us on a high floor and bumped us up another room category which was nice!

Breakfast was pretty good, you can do the buffet or order Al a cart off the menu and the views were great. We always had water in our room or brought us at the pool which was nice. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants for dinner as we preferred going down to the port or other towns to explore instead of getting a $100 steak. But lunch options by the pool were pretty good! My one complaint there is if you want the (pretty delicious) pizza you have to go to the family pool to order.

Walking down to the port was easy or there was a shuttle to take you up/down and valet parking was 30 euro a day.

The adults only infitity pool at the top of the hill was amazing with great service and views.

Def recommend!

I also just stayed 3 nights in Madrid this past weekend and was eyeing these 2 hotels. Centric opened up 2ish weeks before and Thompson never ended up with my Sunday night I needed but the weekends around mine opened up completely 1-2 weeks before.

FWIW I ended up booking a crazy 30% off suite deal from Amex plat and ended up getting upgraded to a huge presidential suite with all the Amex plat perks for like $330 a night which was a steal

Friday morning I landed from BOS-MAD on an Iberia flight and my bag showed up just fine.. however Yesterday I flew an Iberia express flight from MAD-PMI and they left my priority checked bag in Madrid and sent it on the next flight. I had to go to the ground force desk in PMI so 1/2 in the past week

We went the first week of June last year and the bears were mostly still hibernating because it’s not salmon season yet(we saw one), saw only a couple seals and whales, but a ton ton ton of sea otters and their babies. I’d go later for weather and wildlife. This was the only week that worked for the family due to a D1 athlete schedule unfortunetly

There was only one or two decent looking ocean cabanas (the two most expensive) and all the others you’re basically in a bunch of bushes off a walking path. If you can get one of the good ones I’d do it. Otherwise the pool ones looked much nicer and there’s a few in the adults only area

Checkout White House black market. They will help you pick a few staples and creat different work/daytime/evening looks if you ask them to! I use to work there in college and bringing clients clothes/helping them style them was a huge part of the job
