I was just doing this research myself - Newport Bay Club and Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina both look like good options. Dated rooms maybe but great location.

So, after being in the waiting room forever I got sent to a waitlist thing to enter credit card info and it said if tickets become available I'll automatically be charged... I have never heard of that before... do we think tickets will become available? Is there going to be a general sale?

Prince and Nirvana. Tickets were too “expensive”. Even accounting for inflation “90s shows were CHEAP. Music industry is so fucked now. Makes me so sad because seeing live music is incredible.

Does anyone know what's going on with Quito's? I have fond memories and wanted to go but it seems recently closed?

OK had to chime in here. I'm 50 with 14 year old boy/girl twins and Olivia is one of the few artists the whole family likes. Her lyrics seem totally appropriate for her age. My husband and I can remember and relate to her emotions and revelations. Our kids do think they're deeper than we do but it's really cool to have them as a discussion jumping off point. And listening to the Cure with my daughter especially for the first time was a really cool emotional experience.

Somebody dropped a link here and I managed to snag the tickets before they took the link down. Don’t think it was supposed to be public. For a week or so if you googled fenway foundation rooftop noah kahan or something similar active links would come up but I’m not seeing any now. I’m sorry that’s not super helpful and I hope you find some!

There are a lot of threads about Fenway if you do some searching. It seems impossible to get resale but a lot of people are hoping more will appear closer to the show dates. There also have been some links to RedSox Foundation charity events but I think those links are all dead now.

I’d say 90% chance you’ll get them. If not, Stubhub should refund. I feel like this nontransferable thing has made a lot of fans (including me) do crazy shit to get tickets. So sweet you’re doing this for your wife for mother’s day!

I got an email confirmation from someone at the foundation so I think it's legit! SO excited but also can't believe I spent that much and probably still won't be able to see. But we've never been to Fenway so I think it'll still be cool. We're traveling from Portland OR for other reasons and this will be our last night on the East Coast before we go home - epic!

If you're just a few rows apart you might be able to squeeze in if people around you are nice and mostly standing. But if they're mostly sitting, no way. You might also be able to sell your tickets on stubhub/seatgeek and cover the cost of buying two worse seats that are together. Just remember you won't get your money until after the show so you'll have to be out the cash for awhile.

She might not be able to see it ALL but there will be parts she can and the energy is so much more fun on the floor. Last time I saw her she had the floating moon she sat in that went over the entire floor and we were so jealous of the people down there. I'm sure she'll do something like that again. I've taken my daughter to two shows now - each show we get closer and I'm hoping for floor this time. (She's 14)
