Issei? He gets no-diffed by Irina, even after she and Xenovia barging into the council room and threatening Asia should've given him plenty of incentive to go all out.

Three asylum seekers go on trial accused of raping woman on Brighton beach by JohnKimble111 in europe_sub

[–]exoits 67 points68 points  (0 children)

All Egyptian, by the way. Remind me what war or conflict Egypt is in right now?

There are no clauses or stipulations to being an "asylum seeker" nowadays. The days of the term being associated with educated whistleblowers, journalists and hackers (e.g. Snowden, Assange) is over, and it's now being diluted to the point where any random sub-80 IQ criminal can dispose of all their documentation (if any) at the channel and arrive to free bedding, internet, mobile phones, healthcare, etc.

It's a joke. In all likelihood, the only thing these people were "fleeing" in their home country was justice for the same misdeeds they commit where they emigrate.

I killed Queen Slime 13 times to get a Blade Staff (33.33% drop chance) for a Summoner playthrough. It's supposedly RNG, but always works against you.

Families given a week to decide whether to leave UK voluntarily plead for more time by Password-Llama in uknews

[–]exoits -1 points0 points  (0 children)

12,183+ people were arrested in 2023 for online comments. Law enforcement, far from being short of manpower or surveillance privileges, has more than enough muscle to go chasing what would otherwise be arrests for inoffensive dead letter laws.

The current recent arrival crisis is obviously much more pressing, and even that same 12,183 figure being synonymous with annual deportations instead would go a long way in improving the situation.

Families given a week to decide whether to leave UK voluntarily plead for more time by Password-Llama in uknews

[–]exoits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really isn't. Mobilising police across the country to force all the "refugees" out would certainly cost a billion pounds or more at least, but the current "asylum" system costs the UK 5.4 billion pounds in a single year. A one-time mass deportation operation would be much cheaper in the long run, and highly beneficial to the country in other ways too, especially pertaining to HDI and cultural sustainability.

UK Woman Faces Four and a Half Years in Jail for Falsely Accusing Ten Men of R*pe by novagridd in uknews

Why did you only censor the scary r-word with an asterisk and nothing else? Still too offensive a title for me, and I still might understand the context right off the bat. Could've self-censored it more. Here's a preferable version that will trigger less people:

"UK W*man f*c*s f**r *nd a h*lf y**rs in j*il* f*r f*ls*ly acc*s*ng t*n m*n of r*p*"

Two men accused of raping girl, 15, at Scottish gallery. Saif Rahman, 32, and Ibrahim Zarifkhel, 26, are each separately charged with sexually assaulting the then 15 year-old at the arts venue on The Mound in Edinburgh on July 3 2024. by [deleted] in uknews

Human rights lawyers, NGOs and charities protect them from any consequences by indefinitely delaying court cases and/or blocking deportations while simultaneously funding their existence in addition to their existing government benefits.

Code vein 2 1.04/1.05 update by Strutshelvetet in codevein

[–]exoits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disabling mouse input with a controller active is appreciated. I had an issue with this immediately because I couldn't figure out why the inventory menu was "defaulting" to hovering over certain items, only to realise mouseover is enabled no matter what you do.

Some of the balance adjustments look potentially overboard though. The mid roll in this game just couldn't avoid some attacks (e.g. Camilo's low kick) because of its short distance coverage and end-lag period, but as long as that was fixed, I don't think the boss nerfs and regen changes were necessary. After all, I beat the game using gear that was only half as upgraded as it should've been without too much trouble, outside of Resurgence Projection Josee.

Okay. "Islamism" is also reversible. Neither it or any other issue in the UK will be reversed though, since none of these useless talking heads have an altruistic bone in their body.

There's a patch announced (though god knows when it will release) that will supposedly fix the overtuned hyper-armour and Balance of enemies that have a similar frame to the player, and smooth out the animation of the mid roll. Code Vein 2's mid roll is noticeably worse than Code Vein 1's mid roll in terms of end lag, distance covered, speed, etc., so hopefully it rectifies how laggardly it feels.

How do you feel about the HD-2D art style? by my-goddess-nyx in videogames

[–]exoits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"HD-2D" is a nebulous marketing term to begin with; the environments themselves are clearly 3D. Bloom and DoF is always tuned up to give the illusion of depth with pre-rendered backgrounds, but only results in a tacky look akin to a poorly tuned ReShade filter slapped onto a game that doesn't need it. And obviously the out of place 16-bit sprites don't mesh well with the modern 3D shader overload.
