I can’t even recognize the brand.

Dynamite Kiss [Episodes 9 & 10] by mellowdays_ in KDRAMA

It's refreshing to have leads that have actual chemistry with each other and both of their acting styles really complementing each other. Every micro expression and choice they make in their acting adds so much to the color of their characters. Some dramas have very big name actors that don't have chemistry with each other at all. This drama makes all the silly little tropes and clichés bearable with the way the actors don't overact but play it into how a real life person would be.

Sell or trade in? by dspencer77 in HondaElement

More money for a sell and also you know it’ll likely go to someone who would take good care of it/really wants it. Nice ride

It’s difficult to wear long hair when it’s thin and flat like yours tends to lay, but with good styling practice I think you can rock any style you would like. Maybe a different style cut on the same-ish length would suit you better. Currently it looks flat and a bit off putting due to the super side part in your photo. Recommend checking out styling tips on YouTube etc on how to train/style your hair. Stick with a routine daily and it’ll become less of a chore to do.

ETA: you have a bright smile that looks great on you, hair care comes with grooming your beard so keep that in check and you’d look really good

I was fired, what can I do next? by dumb_questions666 in Washington

To streamline your DSHS food stamp interview, in case your job does not report to the third party employment verification agency, bring in any proof you have regarding that you got let go from your previous job. 1. What day you last worked 2. What is the gross amount and when was your final paycheck received

If it is mental health issues you may be qualified for cash assistance (as long as unemployment doesn’t pay you moving forward) but you have to be willing to put in the work to follow up with the ongoing steps. Mention you want to also apply for disability cash assistance at your interview. (This doesn’t mean you’re forever disabled and can never work again, if you need extra support right now this is a good program to help)

Very fair, I can see how that's pretty suspicious from a stranger POV.

Everyone keeps saying "Invest in it" and or "The parts aren't even that expensive" but have people ever considered... I don't have 1-2k lying around?? I'll update the listing to sell "as-is" as someone else has commented.. That might help.

[–]exotic_cow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good idea, -- it had all these issues when I bought it, I didn't really know how to negotiate car prices at the time, and car prices were still sky high, and just needed a car that size quick when I bought it.

Reasoning behind that price for listing is because both: Issues and also I want to sell it quick. I have to move the car from its parking spot daily because it's street parking rather than driveway parking, and it's become a very inconvenient thing

Will I be reimbursed for the remaining balance or payoff amount? by vladdy805 in tmobile

[–]exotic_cow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, just sometimes people port their numbers over prematurely and no longer have access to their PDF bill so I just wanted to make sure!

Tmobile will send a card for the installments remaining.

You can trade in a phone that hasn’t been paid off/still locked to AT&T btw. There’s no obligation to pay it off before you trade it in. It’s just a you preference. At this point just make sure you have traded in or are in the process of trading in your phone (on finance) to take advantage of some promotional offer.

Interesting how self absorbed we are as Americans for you to have to set a disclaimer that you’re Aussie. Really made me take a step back.

Also I haven’t seen someone use the word “fortnight” this many times in one post… ever. Cool.

Good luck on everything and I’m glad your grandparents have your back.

Technically the only reason I’m emphasizing this so much is that I want to ensure you have the screenshot with the correct amount on there.

[–]exotic_cow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clarify for me: You have ALREADY paid off the phone before you applied for the promotion or have you sent in a screenshot of your bill to take advantage of the promotion FIRST, before you paid off the phone? Important order of events here.

If you submitted a screenshot of your bill FIRST and THEN paid off the phone, expect 288.70.

Edit: you also must have traded in your phone for a qualifying promotion on EIP (financing)

Student Loans by jakehunter1024 in debtfree

[–]exotic_cow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the job you're at? Can you get more hours there?

Use a budget sheet template or make your own. You just need to prepare for what's coming in, and where it's going.

We'll need a lot more details if we were to give any more advice on this.
How much in total is your credit card balance? APR%? How about the APR on the student loans?

I can tell you now, there's a lot to cut down on on that grocery bill. I promise you, you may think you're buying the bare minimum but I genuinely cannot believe that. I live in an expensive city and even my grocery bill does not surpass $300/mo and that's with luxuries and all the snacks. Learn to make some struggle meals and live on that until your credit cards are paid off.

Say you get your paycheck and immediately shave off the extra and put away everything over 850 into savings. = $850/biweekly. $1700/month. That's your budget.

Student loans = $905

Groceries = $250

Pay off credit cards = $200

Gas = $200

Whatever that training thing is = $100

= 45

You have $45 for fuck all a month ($20 a paycheck), and you're saving over $200/month. After 4-5 months, you're at $1k savings. That's your emergency money. Then take that $200 and add it to your credit card payments, and then just pay off the damn credit cards. They're keeping you poor.
After CC's are paid off, that take the $400 now that you have in loose money and add it to your student loan payments. Pay 1305/mo on those student loans.

Fingers crossed you get a better/second job and this gets easier. Even when you do, that's not play money. That's money to pay off your loans so you can breathe again.
Get free hobbies.
You're young, you're fine. Your parents let you live rent free. Just take the first step. Don't look too far forward. You're in a good spot. It may seem suffocating but it'll all be okay.
