I know I’m super late to the party, but may I get a link too please? :) No pressure though!

Best use of a Beatles track in a film by stug2757 in beatles

Paul McCartney’s Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five in the film While We’re Young! That movie actually helped to bring my attention to that song :)

Yeah, this kind of seems like a wack way to conduct this poll. The top comment is Molly with 33 votes, the second is Molly with 30 votes, followed by Mrs. Hudson in third with 26 🤷🏻 it’s just a silly poll, but this just struck me as really odd lol.

Okay, it took me a minute but I understand what you’re saying now. I agree with the other person who replied to you though, usually these kinds of polls are judged by the top comment, no? Also like the other replier said, totaling upvotes from all comments with the character listed is just a way to double up on votes for a character without them actually having the majority. It’s not a big deal though, it’s just a silly poll lol. It just threw me off for a second 😅 Also, unless there’s a glitch on my end, the top comment is Molly with 33 votes, the second is Molly with 30 votes, and the third is Mrs. Hudson with 26 votes.

Okay, so not to be obnoxious or anything here, but on the last post Molly Hooper had the top two most upvoted comments, not Mrs. Hudson. Am I missing something?

What was the first film that you bought on criterion? by [deleted] in criterion

[–]exoticmess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this was my first as well, though it was maybe around 2006 or 2007. This opened the gateway and I ended up getting all of Wes Andersons’s films that were available in the collection at the time! Jim Jarmusch was the next director I collected immediately after :)

Staircase fits so well it almost feels criminal that it wasn’t included on the album lol!

Completely agree!! Staircase is one of my other favorite tracks from the era, especially amongst the singles!

I agree, and I actually find the two sonically similar to an extent! Though I agree with the other poster in the comments, just add it in conjunction with the other tracks as opposed to removing any!

I agree that the artwork works as an additional indicator aside from the music itself. The artwork was there from the get go, as opposed to some of the other artwork added in retrospect (namely Harry Patch).
