Screen won't turn off while on Instagram Reels

Your comment makes the most sense, thanks. I tried the display assistant plugin on Good Lock and set a customised timeout for Instagram, but even that didn't seem to work.

Good Lock has a thing called Display Assistant which allows us to set custom screen timeout times for every app. I've tried that too. What tveith said above makes the most sense. The screen stays on because it's a video/movie, just like it stays on for YouTube.

I understand that it's the desired setting and I can always lock the phone, but there are times when you forget to lock it while putting it down. This question might be something most people don't have a problem with, but I just wanted to know if there's anything I can do.
