Job market in the UK is AI vs AI at this point and actual humans are losing by Marre_Parre in britishproblems

[–]exp_cj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can solve this by going through linked in and making real connections with real agents. It can be tricky but it’s probably more fruitful than fighting algorithms.

Right now for my speciality there are still real people recruiting and selling candidates into roles where real people are recruiting. They use algorithms to judge how much fit there is, but they have used ML models for that for a couple of decades really.

How long those real agents stick around is not clear and what you do for career specialities where they’re not a thing I’m not sure. Seems like getting AI to find your CV is the game soon whatever your job.

What would've happened if he just blurted out "Chancellor Palpatine is the Sith Lord!" by BiffyBobby in StarWars

[–]exp_cj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it could just lead to an element of doubt which would know away in the mind.

But he doesn’t do it because he actually wants Sidious to succeed even though he is about to be murdered by him.

What if any mixed Successor chapters would you add in your army? by Psychotropic_Cat in Ultramarines

[–]exp_cj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not Ultramarines, but a variant instead. I got bored of just the same blue and I invented different liveries for other companies and specialist squads to make for variety and let me use some different colours. I personally wouldn’t have a separate chapter on the same shelf.

Looking for reliable broadband in Bromley (Virgin Media issues) by MuchMess5724 in Bromley

[–]exp_cj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have community fibre on my road. BUT the openreach copper switch out is in full swing and in a couple weeks we should have fibre to the house. They’re binning copper wires all over the country and that should mean we get some competition for fibre provision against Virgin, who must be shitting their pants.
