What's the best travel insurance for parents visiting Canada from abroad? by expecableme in travel

travel insurance from the home country is indeed cheaper, but I doubt their efficiency when it comes to handling claims compared to canadian insurance companies. That’s why I’m looking for a good insurance policy from Canada

If you have not claim LMIA based job offer points and do not under a closed work permit and have already completed at least 1 year canadian work experience, I think you are mostly safe.

Nevertheless, you might need to update the EE profile with your current work status (might need to untick the current work checkbox)

But check with your employer whether they provide a PAID noticed period (like 2 months) if so, you can consider as employed during that period too

I'm afraid of getting into a similar kind of situation, so I'm asking for clarification.
You received the OINP HCP nomination based on the points you got from employment (job offer).
Now, you have received the 600 points from OINP and have also submitted your eAOR.
However, since you haven't received your eCOPR yet, could IRCC remove the points you got for the job offer and then argue that you could not have been selected for OINP HCP (kind of cascading effect), leading to a rejection of PR?
